My first in home newborn session of 2021!

I am frequently asked what type of home is needed for an in home newborn session.  You need two things. 1) windows that let in a reasonable amount of natural light... street level apartments, rooms with very small windows or windows that are only a few feet from building next door are not ideal and 2) at least one area for family pictures that fits the style you would like for your photos.  This could be a nursery, a bed room, a living area or even a large window or plain wall.  Your entire home does not need to be pinterest worthy and a nursery is not a necessity for a beautiful in home session.

For this session we used the master bedroom for family pictures.  The pictures of baby alone were taken in the living room using blankets, headbands and wraps I brought to the house.  Big brother took some pictures with the baby (he was amazing!) and then got to eat and go hang out in his playroom with dad while I took the baby only pictures which is a definite convenience of an in home session.

I am so excited to meet all of my 2021 babies!!! Now booking spring and summer Maternity, Newborn and Baby photo sessions.  Please email beth@bethmigaphotography.com for additional information!
